This compact “AA” battery powered movement is designed to solve one of the primary assembly problems that confront everyone making larger clocks — hour and minute hand spacing! The distance on the shaft between the hour and minute hands has been increased to help prevent longer hands from binding. This also leaves enough room to accommodate the counterweights that are commonly used on larger minute hands.The hour and minute hands are sold separately.
